Katherine Collins is the founder of the Miracles, Signs, and Wonders Foundation. With experience in education, quality assurance, and leadership training, she leads with compassion, structure, and faith. Her dedication to strengthening families and empowering youth reflects her lifelong commitment to service and community transformation.
Nyles Collins
Vice President
Petty Officer Second Class Nyles Collins has served nearly eight years in the United States Navy, combining medical expertise with leadership and community care. He has earned multiple commendations, including the Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Medal, for excellence in service. Nyles brings discipline, compassion, and mentorship to the foundation’s youth and outreach programs.
Jessica Stevens
Treasurer
Jessica Stevens is an experienced Human Resources professional specializing in talent development, recruitment, and leadership growth. A graduate of Mississippi State University, she is passionate about helping individuals reach their potential and supports initiatives that empower families, students, and communities through education and workforce readiness.
Porsha Cross
Secretary
Porsha Cross is a Certified Nursing Assistant with over eight years of experience in hospice, hospital, and long-term care. Known for her empathy and professionalism, she provides insight into patient care and family support. Porsha’s commitment to compassion and excellence strengthens the foundation’s mission to promote wellness and care within the community.

David Starks
David Starks holds a Bachelor of Science in Agriculture–Animal Science from Alcorn State University. With a background in agricultural research, leadership, and youth mentorship, he is passionate about helping young people discover their potential and pursue success through education and guidance. His mentorship and community focus align with the foundation’s mission to empower the next generation.
Tonja Tarvin
Chair Member
Tonja Tarvin is a Licensed Certified Social Worker with over 20 years of experience in mental health and family services. She manages a federal program focused on the needs of family caregivers and brings extensive expertise in trauma-informed counseling, school social work, and family advocacy. Tonja’s leadership, compassion, and commitment to service make her a powerful advocate for families and a valued leader in community well-being.
